Working with my colleagues at Town Hall, we created a series of six newsletters for Cooking Matters’ Recipes for Success series. The Recipe for Success newsletter series works to solve problems of hunger and poverty through cooking and nutrition education.

The newsletters were sent to participants of previous Cooking Matters courses to educate them on the non-profit, educational services that Cooking Matters offers.

In an effort to properly serve Cooking Matters’ demographic, we worked with translators to create English and Spanish versions of each newsletter.

Each newsletter included a featured recipe, kitchen tips, and a video taken from Cooking Matters’ extensive video library.

Each newsletter pushed users to the Cooking Matters website for more recipes and educational materials, as well as surveys on how Cooking Matters could better serve their community.
